Table Editing
The ExSite HTML editor gives you a high level of control over
complicated layouts that other editors cannot deal with. With
other HTML editors, one is often forced to work with raw HTML to get
your tables and multi-column formats sorted out correctly, which is
painful if you are not an HTML expert, and annoying even if you
are. ExSite has a flexible table editing tool that lets you
customize and configure multi-column tables to nearly any degree, all
from a point-and-click control panel.
For example, the calendar page below is a multi-column table that was
generated entirely using ExSite's HTML table editor, without ever
touching raw HTML. It illustrates some of the special table
configuration tricks you can easily do without any special knowledge of
HTML, such as:
- customize cell heights and widths
- customize cell colors
- customize text alignment
- customize cell borders, spacing, and padding
- configure cells that span multiple columns (or multiple rows)
You can also easily add or delete cells, columns, or rows, to extend your tables when new content must be added.
